K-Gr 5--Henry begins with a section explaining the difficulty rating for each project (one pair of scissors for easy; three for more difficult). The introduction also discusses tricks of the trade (how to cut a lot of paper strips all at once, etc.), lists necessary supplies, explains primary colors, and discusses some basic art techniques. The projects themselves are divided into general headings such as "Shapes and Geometric Designs," "Three-Dimensional Creations," and "Marvelous Mobiles." Some of the crafts included are a personal desktop robot, a frog, and a mosaic snow person. Boxes titled "More fun" list additional activities related to a particular craft. Black-line drawings accompany the easy-to-follow directions and most projects do not need more than construction paper, scissors, and glue to complete.
