Victoria (Tori) Westerhoff, a sophomore in high school, is a trombonist with New England Conservatory's youth orchestras. Tori also enjoys painting, playing jazz music and writing. Tori believes that a good story is created by living it, so she's always looking for new endeavors. Tori's latest project is already in the works, but it might have to wait a bit; she has to find time to get her driver's license and finish high school along the way.

"There is nothing fractured about Tori Westerhoff's spin on the traditional tale of Humpty Dumpty. She reminds the reader that through adversity we just might find some hidden talents that we were unaware of. The illustrations complement the text perfectly. The perfect read aloud for a youngster's first collision with an accident or that very scary first hospital visit. Kudos to both author and illustrator." --Marina Salenikas, Head of Youth Services, Stevens Memorial Library, N. Andover MA"'
