About the Author:
George Blackburne, III is an attorney, a real estate broker, and the owner of a $50 million hard money commercial mortgage company based in Sacramento, California. His company, Blackburne & Brown Mortgage Company, Inc., also runs a $25 million mortgage fund and a smaller real estate equity investment fund. Mr. Blackburne also owns C-Loans, Inc., the sponsor of C-Loans. com, the largest of the commercial mortgage portals. He has both an undergraduate degree and a master's degree in business, as well as a juris doctorate degree. He lives with his wife and three children in Plymouth, Indiana. He helps coach epee fencing at Culver Military Academy.
