Synopsis
This picture book is the first in the LEARN TENNIS SERIES. It is an entertaining story and educational. It is a fun way for a child or even an adult to learn tennis basics. The story is partially based on the Author's true experienc as a USPTA Tennis Professional and Educator. Murphy Bear is the main character. Miss Angel Hare is the Tennis Pro. Murphy meets new friends while learning, Gavan Gator and Erin Bear. The Author uses anthropomorphic characters to cross all races. Tennis is a multicultural and global sport. It is not expensive to play. Every page is colorfully illustrated. Basic tennis skills and scoring are at the back of the book. It can also be used as a guide for beginners out on a tennis court.
The book has been endorsed by the famous Tennis Champion, Chris Evert and the famous Tennis Coach and Author of many tennis books, Vic Braden. Children all over the world have enjoyed this story. "Tennis is the sport of a lifetime" and the Author conveys how much fun tennis can be through this wonderful book.

About the Authors
As the Author of three children's children's picture books about the sport of tennis I bring the asventures of Murphy Bear to life for young readers age 3-10. My educational and entertaining series, published under the Murphy Bear Books imprint, is known for it's inclusive and vibrant illustrations. I'm proud to be the official Storyteller at the renowned Arthur Ashe Kids Day, at the US Open where I've captivated audiences for 14 years and counting.
Maura has a BS degree in Elemetary Education from LIU and has been a USPTA tennis pro for 25 years.
