About the Author

Woody Woods currently lives in Madison Mississippi but was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta. As a young man, his family purchased Mount Holly, an antebellum mansion on Lake Washington in Washington County Mississippi. It was during this time that he developed a deeper appreciation and fascination with Mississippi history, especially the history of the Delta. Woody graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland Mississippi with a degree in fine arts.
