When scientist Gerald White was told he had terminal cancer and only 3 months till death, his scientific mind-bolstered by a powerful will to live-took over. The result? A remission and three months to LIFE! Built upon the belief that everyone is born with the essential physiological weapons to kill cancer cells, this powerful book explores the science and methodology of mind/body healing, the power of guided imagery, prayer, and meditation, as well as the discipline necessary to induce remission in spite of hope-killing statistics and authoritative predictions of doom. Readers will learn about the MAARS method (mind activated antigen recognition system), which the author credits with saving his life. From diagnosis to information based decision making, from hospital visits to glimmers (then lightning bolts) of hope, White shares his experience as well as that of others, in a voice that is professional, human, informative, and often witty. Patient stories are presented in real time via the actual emails that affords the reader an intimate glimpse into the minds of those who went from fear to victory. This book gives a scientific, as well as spiritual, reason to hope through the lives of patients who have turned from fear to hope, from hope to expectation and from expectation to remission.
