Review:
This book is truly one of the best I have seen designed to help young adults learn how to shop, plan meals, cook, and even entertain their friends in style... They give advice on how to use leftovers for larger roasts and meals called 'encore recipes.' - Barb Ford, Easy Way Gourmet columnist, The Daily News Journal, Murfreesboro, Tn --The Daily News Journal, Feb. 2010
The biggest appeal to me is the simple recipes that don't shoot too low... I'd totally recommend the book for any newbie kitchen proprietors, or for (sorry to be sexist) guys of any age who don't cook much but would like to be able to whip up a date meal for two or just switch off from , well, ramen and frozen pizzas when it's time to cook dinner. -Rose Kennedy, food editor, Metro Pulse, Knoxville, Tennessee --Metro Pulse, Knoxville, Dec. 2009
The book features everything from simple fare to family favorites to more worldly endeavors such as shrimp ceviche, spanakopeta and curried lentils. - Mary Constantine, food editor, Knoxville News Sentinel --Knoxville News Sentinel, Oct. 2009
