Creed W. Pannell, Jr. has been an entrepreneur for more than 30 years. He began his entrepreneurship ventures with the formation of Pannell Sales, Inc., serving as a manufacturer's representative for a major hair care manufacturer throughout the U.S./Southeastern Markets, and the Caribbean. As CEO of Positive Publications, Mr. Pannell later created the Atlanta Metro Magazine and continues to publish the Atlanta NewsLeader, the Atlanta Business Journal, and the Weddings For Us Bridal Magazine. Mr. Pannell continues to develop new branding and marketing initiatives to enhance his product and service offerings, while creating new internet applications for extending his outreach to existing and new customers via his current business web sites. His strong faith background and love for music, led him to create Atlanta's Gospel Choice Awards (now in its 15th year). With the suc-cess of the Gospel Choice Awards, and the growing Holy Hip-hop market, Mr. Pannell created the Youth Gospel Choice Awards (now in its 3rd year). As an extension of the Atlanta Business Journal, Mr. Pannell created the Georgia Minority Business Awards (GMBA). Now in its 11th year, the GMBA is dedicated to helping generate awareness of the positive changes and collective successes of multi-cultural business communities. The GMBA serves as a catalyst for a new generation of business owners which will, notably serve as valuable indicators for building cultural and global relationships for the future. Mr. Pannell has always believed in the importance of seeking opportunities to provide economically feasible and viable alternatives to the African-American community as it relates to matters of health, environmental, and lifestyle. In 2007, he co-founded It's YourChoice Natural Gas to offer the AA community a cost effective alternative for natural gas. Mr. Pannell is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C. and the Charles Price School of Journalism in Philadelphia, Pa. Creed and his wife, Rochelle, have 4 children, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. They reside in Fairburn, Georgia.
