Free the Poop: A Potty Training Book From the Poop’s Perspective features a talking poop that’s right, a talking poop who exhorts toddlers to free him from his diaper so he can plop into a potty splash into a toilet and go down to the sewer where we can frolic with other poops.” The book starts with a simple introduction: Hi. I’m a poop. That’s right. Doo-doo. Ca-ca. Stinky. A poop. You’ve been squeezing out the likes of me since the day you were born.” It winds up with the poop celebrating his liberation” in a top hat, no less! It’s not just laugh-out-loud funny it’s practical. Every parent knows that small children love all things scatological, and they particularly adore Free the Poop. Yes, it’s gross. Yes, it’s hilarious. And yes it works!
