Arthur Espenet Carpenter was born in 1920 and died in 2006 at the age of 86. After the second world War he started turning bowls out in San Francisco ,California. By the nineteen sixties he was designing and making handsome one of a kind works of furniture. In 1966 his house and his life style were displayed in life magazine. His furniture has been shown throughout the country in the most prestigious institutions. He continued to make furniture till he was 80 years old influencing hundreds of people to think beyond the corporate world to go it alone.Review:
