This amazing story chronicles Ron Zuccaro s unique life through his U.S. Military service career in the U.S. Army, Navy and Marines where he served in Vietnam (Yes, three branches of service from 1958-1987!) and his professional wrestling career while also engaging the reader with an array of inspiring and entertaining antics and anecdotes that compose this incredible man s quite incredible life and unfaltering faith in God. Amazing but true: Ron wrestled professionally, worldwide, under the name of Ron Martinelli in the 1970's and 1980's. At the height of his wrestling career he suffered a near fatal, career ending injury. As he was leaving a dry cleaner s, a vehicle ran directly into him, pinning him and crushing his legs and lower torso. He was rushed to the hospital ICU and left, months later, in a wheelchair, for what should have been the rest of his life. Doctors said he'd never walk again - only for Ron to prove them wrong! He not only walked again, but resumed his professional wrestling career winning the Continental Wrestling Association Heavyweight world title in 1980! Heaven, Iron and I reveals Ron s true patriotism and perseverance as he shows how he overcame life s most grueling challenges while never losing his faith in God, his country or his family; in so doing he inspires his readers to do the same! His overriding message is this: Who says you can't do it? Who says you can't achieve your dreams? Who says you'll always be a loser and a quitter? God is telling you, YOU CAN! You can win over troubles. You can fulfill your dreams. You can achieve your goals. You can be a WINNER!

You won't be able to put this book down and when you finish you'll be looking forward to hopefully his next book. --Nicole Maren

I used to watch Ron Martinelli wrestle on T.V. and at Cobo Arena when I was a boy. But I never knew about his military service, his accident, or faith in the Lord. Wow! What a life! When it hit me that I remembered who this man is and that these events were real life events, well, I was so amazed by this man! Hollywood actors play parts, but this man lived it! He didn't merely exist, this guy really LIVED life to the fullest!!! I am so inspired by his drive and zest for life that I am now making a list of things I want to do and accomplish. Great Book, Ron! I loved to cheer you on when you wrestled and I am cheering you on now. I want to thank you for your military service, and for sharing your life by writing this book. --Ron Sugar

As a member of a generation that can only read about Vietnam, hear stories about the roots of wrestling, and wonder what it would have been like to rise, fall, and rise again..... I was able to travel time and be in the passenger seat as Ron tells his story. If you like roller coasters, this one takes you on a wonderful ride of emotions. For the first time, I read a book and laughed, cried, smiled, weeped, and was motivated all at the same time. This wonderful story paints a picture that could only be depicted in one's wildest dreams and one that leaves you with a sense of...I can! YOU CAN with this man's story! --Michael J. Miller
