I used to watch Ron Martinelli wrestle on T.V. and at Cobo Arena when I was a boy. But I never knew about his military service, his accident, or faith in the Lord. Wow! What a life! When it hit me that I remembered who this man is and that these events were real life events, well, I was so amazed by this man! Hollywood actors play parts, but this man lived it! He didn't merely exist, this guy really LIVED life to the fullest!!! I am so inspired by his drive and zest for life that I am now making a list of things I want to do and accomplish. Great Book, Ron! I loved to cheer you on when you wrestled and I am cheering you on now. I want to thank you for your military service, and for sharing your life by writing this book. --Ron Sugar
As a member of a generation that can only read about Vietnam, hear stories about the roots of wrestling, and wonder what it would have been like to rise, fall, and rise again..... I was able to travel time and be in the passenger seat as Ron tells his story. If you like roller coasters, this one takes you on a wonderful ride of emotions. For the first time, I read a book and laughed, cried, smiled, weeped, and was motivated all at the same time. This wonderful story paints a picture that could only be depicted in one's wildest dreams and one that leaves you with a sense of...I can! YOU CAN with this man's story! --Michael J. Miller
