The title of this book comes from the incredible and unusual name of a hometown neighbor: Ivan Puffenbarger. When I was four (the age when, according to my father, I was smart enough to hold a conversation but too young to really sass him), my favorite activity was wandering around our farm, gibbering that name to myself and to fence posts and cowpies. Ivan Puffenbarger, in its syllabic intricacy and Appalachian glory, was my first great accomplishment. It's been all downhill since then.About the Author:
Molly, 29, lives in New York City and enjoys baking, playing the piano and ordering Shirley Temples at fancy bars. She lives in Astoria, Queens, with her labradoodle and enough houseplants to oxygenate a small submersible. All of these stories are about Molly, and all of them are true. This is her first book.
