About the Author:
Cateenna Davis, international author and publisher of the 5 star reviewed debut novel, Sarah Rose. Cateenna has three children, two of whom are serving in the United States Air Force, and the third serving in the United States Army. She resides with her husband, Elton Davis in South Florida, where she attended, Broward College earning her degree in emergency medicine, as a licensed paramedic and attaining her a certificate in leadership and public speaking.Through her courses at Broward College, Cateenna's passion for writing was rekindled though classes in, African American Literature. Cateenna started writing the pages of Sarah Rose as a release, never intending for it to turn into something shared with the world. It would be her husband eventually reading a portion of Sarah Rose, advising her to put it out for the world to read. Of course, she laughed and brushed him off. Yet more years passed, Elton would bring up Sarah Rose from time to time, Telling her, "Babe, I really think you should complete and sale your story." He would walk around like a proud peacock displaying it's beautiful feathers, announcing to most of his family and friends, "My wife is writing a really great book." She would shove him playfully and blush. Being a quiet person and sometimes embarrassed by her own success, she in turn told no one. Nevertheless, upon returning home from work one day she announced to her husband she was tired of working for other people and wanted to work for herself. As she tried to figure out what new career path to embark on, she pulled Sarah Rose from the shelf and reread the few pages she had started. Flabbergasted by the words she had written. Cateenna knew then it was time to take her husband's advice and get serious about writing and taking the next step into the literary world. Now with Sarah Rose completed, she sincerely hopes you enjoy reading it, as much as she enjoyed writing it.
