Burt Webb is a retired software engineer. He has appeared on television, on radio, in print and in person on subjects such as astronomy, biology, computers, nanotechnology, physics, psychology and social issues. He created computer graphics for The Search for Spock, a Star Trek movie, and has collaborated on fantasy, science fiction and action screen plays. He contributed to a recently published fantasy novel titled Enchanters. He is editing the 12th book of a projected 25 volume series of books on sociology and is pursuing research on a long time interest in Asimov’s psychohistory. He is currently working on In the Name of Gods, the sequel to Rare Earths and a non-fiction book on cognitive biases titled Mindfields. He lives in Seattle, Washington with his life partner, Barbara Whitt, and Mz. Chickie, their pet chicken.
