About the Author:
K. Tutashinda, D.C. is a Chiropractic Physician, teacher, activist, and independent scholar. He owns Imhotep Chiropractic & Wellness Center in Berkeley, California and has been in practice since 1989. He has taught in the Upward Bound programs of UC Berkeley and Mills College since 1984 and convened the Youth Violence task force for the city of Oakland from 2006-10. He runs the Nano Education Project which informs indigenous and grassroots communities on the benefits and potential hazards of Nanotechnology. He has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Arkansas and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West. The author of five books, he is married with four adult children and lives in the Bay Area, Northern California.
