I hope you enjoy my first cookbook. It’s all about tradition, Italian cooking, and the love of the Italian family. This cookbook represents simple Italian cooking at its finest, with over 225 pages of my recipes, photos and artwork. My recipes are authentic, as I have transformed some of the preparation methods to shorten the cooking times for our active lifestyles. As an Italian-American expressionist painter, photographer and restaurateur, it has been my utmost pleasure to share my recipes and artwork for the past 23 years at my beloved former restaurant, The Italian Café in Seabrook, Texas. In this cookbook, I have gathered my Italian-style recipes to share with you, alongside my photography and artwork. Within the first few pages of my book you will truly start to understand my artistic style when blending ingredients and understanding my style of art, and the story that comes along with it.

Frank Piazza is an Italian-American expressionist painter, photographer and author from Houston, Texas. He studied Photo Journalism at the University of Houston, and owned and operated the Italian Café in Seabrook, Texas, for 23 years.
