Love: Possible© is an honest and intimate social commentary surrounding the topics of love and relationships more or less, a manual of collected common sense; one that forces us to recognize what love is and what love isn't. It offers clarity to our confusion and hope to our hopelessness. It lends intelligence to our expectations, propels our love of self, and promotes the realization that loving a man is only a portion of what it truly takes to capture and maintain the romantic relationships we ultimately desire.
Consequently, there should be very little expectation to intercept the notions of any classic, well-known fairytale romances here, as Love: Possible© acts as an intense, common sense, no nonsense approach to love and relationships. It is, at no point, fluffy, sweet or blindly unrealistic, and while hopeful and sporadically empathetic, refuses to serve as a promotion of flawless and idealistic happily ever afters. It instead acts as a testament of how to obtain our most available, compatible, and appreciative love experiences, mostly by re-examining our expectations, redefining our purpose, and reconstructing our understanding of everything we thought love to be.
Therefore, it goes without saying that if we release our impractical perceptions of love, thoroughly prepare ourselves for our reception of love, use our common sense, give nothing less than we take, and never accept less than we deserve, we can more readily determine the impending successes or failures of our current or future relationships. So understand ladies; from this moment on, failure is not an option, ignorance is unacceptable, and stupidity no longer an excuse; not when "real love is possible!"

Kanika Aisha Vann (Journalist/Writer/Editor/Author) A native of Clinton, Maryland, has been using literary anecdotes and pen strokes to excite the minds of readers since the age of eleven. She physically embraced the written word in poetic form in grade school and has only expanded her portfolio since then. Kanika began to aggressively develop her writing skills; studying the poetry of Paul Laurence Dunbar, Pablo Neruda, Gwendolyn Brooks, and Langston Hughes while composing a journal of independent essays and poems, which reflected her passion for written expression. Her word combinations have grown to command frequent attention and even more critical acclaim, prompting her to acknowledge Dr. Maya Angelou, whose show, not tell writing style she's most readily embraced, as her greatest literary inspiration. Blessed with an air of poetic prowess (Towson University English Professor, Lena Ampadu), Kanika possesses a talent that would draw praise from any seasoned writer. She leaves [readers] renewed and enlightened; somehow better than they were before their eyes met her phrases (GodAllahTruth Hall; member of hip-hop trio, Gods'Illa).
In 2003, she began to publish her work through various outlets including her alma mater's university newspaper, the Towson Towerlight. Her work continued as contributing writer, staff writer, and editor for Long Beach, California's Metro.dot.Pop Magazine, Sin City's Las Vegas Sentinel-Voice Newspaper, Washington, D.C. online entertainment magazine, DMV Spectrum.com, and most recently, Maryland's own, AMADI Magazine, respectively. She also served as editor for Washington D.C. fashion publication, X&I Fashion Magazine, and as a technical writer for the U.S. Department of the Treasury s Financial Management Services Division.
As of 2013, Kanika's portfolio includes reviews, commentaries, analyses, and feature articles from interviews with U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, former basketball stars Sheryl Swoopes and Greg Anthony, Civil Rights activist Myrlie Evers-Williams, Human Rights activist Cleve Jones, and international rock star, Prince; just to name a few.
Deemed a passionate and proficient, experienced and efficient writer (Dr. Kwabena E. Asomani, Ed.D; Dr. Tracee Walker-Gilbert, Ph.D; Dr. Lonise Bias, Ed.D), by those she has written for, Kanika hopes to make an indelible mark on the writing world by continuing to lift her pen, as she showcases her literary talents and adds to her credit, the title of both author and entrepreneur, with the release of her first book: a love and relationship commentary, entitled Love: Possible©, and the launch of her publishing company, Love Lore® Publishing, LLC.Review:
