Review:

Dear Suzanne We received your book on Monday and I read it yesterday. Boy have you been through the hoop. I was diagnosed in 1993 at the age of 53 after two years of doing the rounds, my early experiences were the same as yours. Affected the lungs, kidneys and heart. Had the biopsy etc etc. But I was lucky the prednisolone and Imuran etc took control and apart from the surprise visits of The Wolf, am Ok. But I would not had your courage and determination to handle all your problems. I congratulate you on for your guts and determination and on your book. Best wishes and keep on fighting. David Henderson Manager The Lupus Group of WA (Inc) --David Henderson

Hi Suzanne I have started reading your book and can t put it down even got caught reading it at work! You are so inspirational it makes me very enthusiastic about working with you to get it more widely distributed. You must be very proud of yourself. Kind Regards, Julie Black Chief Executive Officer Arthritis SA, MARLESTON, AUSTRALIA. --Julie Black

Hi Suzie What a fantastic book you have written - I can't believe what you have endured over the years. You have certainly been to hell and back more than once. You must have an inner strength that won't let the odds go against you. I'm up to the 'medical diaries' in the book and read a bit whenever I get a chance. Your book is certainly an inspiration to people who are suffering from lupus so I hope they get to know about it and read it. I work with a lady who has Lupus and on Saturday I'll be telling her about the book!! Take care, and good luck Inez xx --Inez Chambers, PACMOD, Edinburgh, South Australia, Australia --Inez Chambers

Hi Suzy, I finished your book last night. Firstly, I hope you continue with writing in some form or another it was brilliantly written! You certainly have a gift there. I must admit I went from reading it with a cup of tea to a glass of red or two! Obviously being here in Queensland it is incomprehensible to realise the degree of what you have been through. It still is in some ways, because on the few occasions I ve seen you in adulthood, your humour and gregariousness has always been at the forefront just as it was during our childhood. A great credit to your strength of character and makes me one very proud cousin. --Tracey Beaton, Queensland, Australia --Tracey Beaton

Suzanne a great read I found it most interesting and very well written you have a real flair for writing Do keep in touch Tim --Timothy Mathew National Medical Director Kidney Health Australia --Timothy Mathew
