About the Author:
Andrew has been a legal practitioner for almost 30 years in various roles. He holds a BA, LLB and Masters of Laws. He has held three judicial roles including a sessional appointment to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT), the Commercial and Consumer Tribunal (CCT) and as the Victorian Mining Warden where his quasi-judicial role included a mandatory statutory duty to investigate government and the mining sector. Prior to these roles Andrew was a Barrister at Private Bar, and Counsel Assisting the Commissioner for Crime in the Crime and Misconduct Commission and an Executive Director of a public company. Andrew s investigative experience includes four years as a Detective in the Australian Federal Police Drug Squad and an investigative consultancy role in International Criminal Law for an NGO assisting the UN and EU s Special Court of Sierra Leone. He was Andrew is also a fully qualified and licensed investigator. Currently Andrew runs his own consulting business as a corporate arbitrator, mediator and negotiator.
