The first part discusses health promotion, through good habits including proper nutrition and sufficent exercise; the second deals with diseases and disorders and their prevention. The clear, timely, and informative text assumes some knowledge and motivation by the reader, but, within this context, it strikes the right balance between understandable language and thorough coverage. Recommended.
