In this spurious autobiography, puns and malapropisms replace the visual gags that popularized Leslie Nielsen in such movies as Airplane! and Naked Gun. Clearly, the presentation is a spoof, not an autobiography. It's a delightful diversion akin to the comedy records of the 1970's though the content is not ribald by today's standards. Nielsen has a rich, compelling voice which nearly authenticates his ridiculous stories. In a few cases, he imitates associates' voices. The resulting mimicry is funny if not factual.
