YA-In this obvious labor of love, the Okudas have pulled together the events, places, people, and things that make up the Star Trek cosmos. The book starts approximately 15 billion years ago with the formation of the universe, and goes through the 33rd century. This impressive tome covers "Star Trek," "ST:TNG" through the 5th season, and the first six Star Trek movies. ST:DS9 is not included, but is briefly mentioned. Summaries and stardates are given for each TV episode and film, along with hundreds of black-and-white photos. Appendixes include lists of major characters, scientific and exploratory milestones, major cultural and political developments, alternative timelines, and a chronology. Vulcans will appreciate the logical arrangement and comprehensive 18-page index.
