Seller: Book Bear, West Brookfield, MA, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Second, Revised Edition. 891 pp. Tightly bound. Text is free of markings. Published without dust jacket. PLEASE NOTE the reasons for the lower "good" rating. (1) There is a bump to the lower corner back board. (2) Rounding to cloth at head / heel of spine. (3) The cloth on the spine is faded from dark green to blue-green. (4) This copy is not an ex-library copy but the previous owner wrote his name on the front end paper and also attached a check-out pocket to the front paste down. Please consider this a "good reading copy" that is free of markings in the text. This copy is smyth sewn. Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. Each folded signature is sewn together individually with multiple stitches and then joined with other signatures to create the complete book block. This is the traditional and best method of bookbinding. Seller Inventory # 031872
