Daniel's Dangerous Dilemma is a 20-to 25 minute musical for children grades 2-6 based on the biblical story of Daniel (Book of Daniel, chapter 6). The participants in the musical will explore the Bible story from the perspective of the key characters (Daniel, King Darius, and so forth) and two angles (Sarah and Rebekah) who often function as narrators of the story's action. The musical explores themes such as Serving God, Faithfulness, and Trust. Michael Bedford is Organist and Choirmaster at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has written anthems for several publishers and is the composer of Daniel’s Dangerous Dilemma for Abingdon Press. Michael is an active member of several music organizations such as American Guild of Organists, Association of Anglican Musicians, American Choral Directors Association, Choristers Guild, and ASCAP and is a respected clinician and workshop leader.
