Everyone in town wondered about the rare and beautiful violets growing in the park that spring. They couldn't remember seeing any of that particular color and size ever before. Moreover, they were growing in a spot that had remained bare of grass and flowers as long as anyone could remember. A touching tale for children and adults, it reflects the love of the One who came to earth as the first and best Christmas gift.
