About the Author
Born in Korea, Dr. Kang was blind. He was educated in Korea and Pennsylvania. He was Directorof the Indiana Department of Special Education, and President Bush's appointee, and confirmed by the US Senate to the National Council on Disability. Dr. Kang died February 23, 2012.
