Take a journey to a beautiful primitive new world, where humanity is fighting for survival. This unique narrative see’s Science Fiction Fantasy, Mythology and Religion collide. 144,000 people are abducted from earth. Shane Connell believes they were kept in stasis and brought to the aliens’ home planet. Only he finds out that their not on a planet at all, but aboard an enormous terrarium starship, and their alien captors are actually highly evolved humans; on a rescue mission to save them from impending disaster. There’s a humongous asteroid on a collision course with Earth. Their mission is to transport a diverse segment of the earth human population to a new home planet in a galaxy far away. However humanity has taken a terrible evolutionary wrong turn on this new planet and has split into two separate species. One species are pre-Neanderthal carnivores. The others are normal humans, as nature intended. The carnivorous creatures will eventually render the native humans extinct. So a third species, a small select group of earth humans that will include Shane Connell, will be sent through a wormhole hundreds of years in advance, on a mission to try and right this evolutionary wrong. They are The Nephilim Brood... Shane rescues Lashena, a beautiful native woman, from certain death at the hands of the carnivorous creatures. They spend time living together in erotic bliss and fall madly in love. Shane discovers a deadly poisonous plant and teaches the natives archery and the art of the poisonous booby trap. Heavily outnumbered, and against all odds the combined army of native and earth humans finally defeat the bloodthirsty pre-Neanderthal creatures in an epic battle for the ages.

About the Author:

Michael K Paraiso was born in Chicago Ill in 1962, grew up in Miami Fl. Has been happily married to wife Karen since 1988, had daughter Nicole in August of 1994. He's an accomplished expert in the electronic security industry. Michael was first inspired to write the Nephilim Brood in late August 1992, days after hurricane Andrew had first made land fall. He awoke to the sound of a chainsaw, sweat-soaked from the south Florida humid heat with the basic plot to this story fresh in his head. He was disappointed that he was awakened from such an adventure, but perhaps he wouldn't have ever remembered this amazing story if he hadn't been awakened while still dreaming it. Years had passed since then and he suddenly had the desire to write this epic tail. He's well aware of some of the controversial content of this fictional story, but Michael was compelled to write it unencumbered and just let the story flow without reservation. His intention was never to cast a shadow into anyone else's sunshine and in no way is this fictional story any kind of a religious belief. It's merely an idea of a possibility. He hopes you enjoyed reading it as much as he enjoyed writing it...

Review:

The Knowshi Magazine

Book Review by: Ifakoya English

The Nephilim Brood begins with your standard abduction plot but quickly changes into a story about survival on a new planet where humanity has split into two factions. The Pre-Neanderthal-like carnivores and the regular humans. It is an interesting tale with an equally interesting concept that doesn't try to beat a message or thought into your head with a wooden club. It is a fun story, with a few attention grabbing twists and turns.

Where this novel shines is in the diversity of characters which Paraiso creates masterfully. They are all unique and entertaining and bring this novel to life. With this diverse group of characters, The Nephilim Brood fulfills all the requirements of a fun and engaging novel.

It's is a good read. We recommend.
