Opal Alexandria has travelled the dark road of the dope trade in many capacities, from dope-cook, dealer to junkie - to mother fighting for legal and sober. To woman engaged in the lifelong journey of recovery. Her mission now? To help everyone she can, from law enforcement and parents to the kids sliding down that slope. Knowledge and education are the tools that can do that–and her unique education can be a powerful tool in this war! This book is one of her “donation series.” In this short work, a sample of writings from THE CONTAMINATED WELL: BOOK 2, Opal writes her truth to instruct law enforcement and educators so they are better armed to effectively battle the drug culture. And, to solicit funds to support her MEDICINE FOUNDATION where kids and their sober families can learn to break the cycle. Proceeds from this book will go to MEDICINE.

About the Author:

Opal Alexandria is a wife, mother to three children, grandmother, daughter and sister–friend. She is also an addict–who has fallen in and out of sobriety or recovery since she was thirteen years old. Although born in Lima Ohio, she currently lives in Bunnell Florida–where her family was one of the first families to found–Flagler County Florida. It was on this land–she began to dream of a better tomorrow, for her earth, her community and all of its people. She decided she would personally change, her people, places and things–and imagined a world where we would hate the disease of addiction, and not the addict. At the same time teach her children and grandchildren–a different way, and sat out to do it. She knows only too well–recovery is not for the weak. She released her truth–the pill everyone wants but couldn’t seem to swallow... She eventually developed a close relationship with her anger, and her pain–her truths, her lies–what eventually brought her happiness and peace of mind–and started tapping those rails of emotion one more time–and decided to write. She knew her words would make waves, but then she decided not to worry about making waves–because the moon does it all the time.
