World-Class Native American Art, mainly Navajo, in a Digital coffee-table sized book for viewing on an Ultra-High-Definition TV, High-Definition TV, or computer. 360 photographs 3840X2160 processed from over 5000 raw files. This is a celebration of Native American culture and entry into the universality of their art. Crow Canyon is in the Four Corners area of New Mexico. New Mexico has literally 100's of 1000's of petroglyphs. Some of the most interesting are hidden away in relatively remote locations such as Crow Canyon. The best petroglyphs in Crow Canyon are world-class art. Petroglyphs were created by three groups: Prehistoric Pueblo (as early as 500 AD), Navajo (1500 to 1750), and sheep herders (around 1900's). We have carefully photographed most of these in overview, mid-view, and detail; and then processed the photographs into the UHD format available on newer televisions and some newer computer monitors (as of July 2015). However, a UHD television is not critical since pictures in UHD format also look very nice on good computer monitors and most HD televisions. The UHD format (3840 X 2160) provides a large detailed picture. In addition, it has a wide color range. Of the current practical means of presenting a photo book, UHD is the most remarkable, in terms of the quality, cost, and viewing experience. Great art has meaning across times and cultures. It is often fascinating and soothing and beautiful, three qualities these petroglyphs have. These will provide you with many moments of peace and joy and a connectedness to the spirituality of another culture in New Mexico. It is a meditative experience. The DVD is archival grade. We processed some images in more than one way, for example, color and black and white. The total number of distinct images is about 250. The total number of images is about 360. All images are JPG saved at maximum quality with black backgrounds where they do not crop exactly to UHD.
