This is a tale of Magic, who was raised by the top drug dealers in the city of Detroit. After witnessing so many hardships, she was forced to either join the family business or create her own. The lost girl had it all growing up: expensive clothes, jewelry, endless access to money, and anything else you could think of. She was gorgeous, fearless, smart, and full of life. Magic always knew that there was something much greater but her vision failed to include the finite details that meant losing all those closest to her. It wouldn't be until after she endured painful cycles beyond her control that one would be forced to think it was only magic that kept her standing strong. Determined to defy all odds and come out of the ring unscratched by the thorns of life, she was relentless. Magic Harris experienced heart break, broken promises, tragic murders, and abuse; but no one would ever know it from the outside looking in. She had a gift of keeping her game face on and not everyone could do that. Plenty would not have been able to do it considering all that she experienced but life would teach her that she was born a winner. After reading this novel you will be sure to not complain. Pay attention to detail, listen with your heart, and never be too quick to judge.
