About the Author

Joy comes from a long line of farmers, but it wasn't until she worked for J. Franklin Styer Nurseries, a major contributor to the Philadelphia Flower Show, that she learned that not everything should be planted in rows. The Garden Journal, Planner & Log Book is the result of knowledge gained from her family, the great co-workers and library at Styer Nurseries, and her experience running the Lifewerks Giving Garden ~ a food pantry garden, as well as the maintenance of gardens at three properties.
