About the Author

Captain Brad Durick is a nationally known professional catfish guide, writer, educator and speaker based on the Red River of the North at Grand Forks, North Dakota. Durick has appeared in numerous articles and television shows teaching the finer points of catching catfish. He is the author of the 2013 book "Cracking the Channel Catfish Code". His first book contains much ground breaking research on channel catfish and river conditions, as well as the original pattern called "lateral movement", which is perhaps the single biggest catfishing breakthrough in decades.
