What's Her Story? "Who Am I? I am a human being just like you." 41-year-old Author, Songwriter, Poet, Songstress, Photojournalist, Jack-of-all-trades from Seat Pleasant, MD I am a wife, mother of four (J.A.K.A.B), and all around goofball that can't live without nature and music. I started writing at the age of 6. I would write short stories, songs, and screenplays about anything I imagine of. Writing was a means of escape for me: a path to a fantasy world that I created. My walk into poetry started after a very interesting relationship I had about 15 years ago. I decided to create a journal of my personal feelings about what was going on in my life at that time. Out of those writings came, Life and Love From My Eyes. This is a book of poetry that reveals one woman's story about her journey in finding the true meaning of love: unconditional love for self. As I continued my journey, Me:Naked., my second poetry book was born. Me:Naked. is a raw, stripped account of what I felt as a single woman searching for true love. The poetry came from growth and understanding of the woman I had become. I learned a lot about myself-my needs, my wants, my dreams. One of those dreams was to write a novel and in 2013, I finally made that dream come true. My first novel, Unthinkable emerged from a dream I had about meeting my celebrity crush.
