His Harvard Business Review article, "Predators and Prey: A New Ecology of Competition," won the prestigious McKinsey Award for best article of 1993. He is a regular columnist for Upside, the Silicon Valley high-tech executive monthly. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
