About the Author

Cynthia Stevens Graubart is an author and former television producer living in Atlanta, Georgia. Cynthia launched her television cooking show career with Nathalie Dupree, producing Nathalie's first national public television series New Southern Cooking, followed by 10 years of producing and consulting for television cooking programs, chefs, and world-reknowned authors. Catherine Fliegel is a registered nurse and certified childbirth educator living in New York City, New York. She has instructed expectant parents on the physical and emotional aspects of labor, childbirth, and postpartum adjustment, as well as breast feeding and newborn care. Catherine is known among her family and friends as a fine cook. In 2000, she enjoyed the honor of being a prep cook for Julia Child and Burt Wolf for their national public television special, An American Feast.
