As clues are unearthed regarding Adam's last days, it becomes clear that Christy's own stay at Spindrift could have deadly consequences. Shelley Thompson, a seasoned narrator, resists the opportunity to over-dramatize the narrative, allowing the story to do the work. Her selection of voices centers each character at their heart, rendering them distinctive and as accurate as a single-point-of-view narrative allows.
