Synopsis
Mike Faraday, taciturn L.A. private investigator, is asked to stake-out a rare stamp dealer's house. Death in the rain uncovers a plot to forge and steal the most valuable envelope in the world; one with two Mauritius stamps worth $300,000. As usual, Faraday is surrounded by mayhem, murder and girls, and finds himself in a difficult alliance with one of the most engaging villains he has ever met, the smooth but deadly Colonel Palgrave.
