Synopsis

Professor Curl shows how art, architecture, design, theatre and music owe a great debt to the traditions of Freemasonry.

About the Author
James Stevens Curl is Professor of Architectural History and Senior Research Fellow at The Queen's University of Belfast. He read for his Doctorate at University College London, and in 1991-2 was Visiting Fellow at Peterhouse, University of Cambridge. He has established an international reputation for scholarship, lucidity of style, and thorough investigations in little-known fields of research. His many books include Classical Architecture, also published by Batsford.
