Synopsis

He was, above all, a creator of great set pieces and it is these that are surely at the root of the films' great and lasting success.

Ian Fleming (1908-1964) wrote CASINO ROYALE aged 42 and followed it with a further eleven Bond novels which have to date sold about 40 million copies.
