With a one-page preface to the second edition by the publishers to the fore. ***Near fine in tan and black printed wrappers. Edges of wrappers slightly rubbed. Small light crease to top corner of front wrapper. Brown title to spine slightly faded. Pages clean. No inscriptions. No reading creases to spine. Spine tight. Rear wrapper very slightly discoloured and rubbed (being white background). Front wrapper bright. 214 mm x 136 mm. 168 pages. ***'This volume contains Samuel Beckett's post-war shorter writings up to 1966: the three novellas and thirteen Texts for Nothing that were written in French between 1945 and 1950 when Waiting for Godot and the Trilogy were also written; From an Abandoned Work, which was written in English; and three later texts. ***The three stories published as Residua are what the author preserved from longer texts.
