About the Author:

Ne en 1935 au Royaume-Uni, Keith Roberts a etudie les arts graphiques. D abord publicitaire, il s est mis a publier de la science-fiction dans les annees 1960, comme auteur mais egalement en tant qu illustrateur. Il a notamment participe aux revues New Worlds et Science Fantasy. Apres un premier roman dans la lignee de la science-fiction catastrophiste anglaise (Les Furies, 1966), il a cree avec Pavane l un des ouvrages fondateurs de l uchronie. Il a ensuite explore la fantasy et le roman historique, sans jamais renoncer a la science-fiction. Keith Roberts est decede en 2000.
