Todd Burpo es pastor de la Iglesia Crossroads Wesleyan, es entrenador de lucha libre, bombero voluntario y opera una compañía que administra pequeñas tiendas minoristas bajo un mismo techo con su cónyuge Sonja, que es ministro de niños, además de ocupada esposa de pastor y madre abnegada.
