The author was captured in Greece in 1941 and for the remainder of the war worked in hospitals in the camps in which he was imprisoned. Brown cloth-covered boards, gilt titles to spine, 240 pages. Condition: Ex-library; the front paste down has had a new sheet pasted neatly over the old one, which had the library markings/label, and the rear pastedown has been similarly treated, but with removal of the rear free end paper, and application of a reinforcing strip.
