Each activity book exciting and motivating activities to support classroom teaching friendly illustrations that encourage children to have fun while learning key vocabulary for each topic area notes and tips for parents and carers. Get Letter Sounds introduces children to early phonics through exploring the single letter sounds. Following the structure of Letters and Sounds , this book takes young learners through each phoneme, from 's' for 'sun' to 'qu' for 'queen'. A separate accompanying teacher's guide, Get Set Literacy Teacher's Guide (ISBN 9780721714400), contains detailed teacher's notes, links to show corresponding pages in the activity book, and supporting photocopiable resources.
