From the Publisher:

It began with a dead crew floating in a millionaire's antique blimp. It escalated into a hijacking of the U.S. President -- and a call to Dirk Pitt. A group of industrialists has put a secret American presence on the moon. When a lunar battle erupts between the Russians and the U.S., it could have devastating consequences on earth. Castro's Cuba is exploding, and Dirk Pitt is entering the eye of the storm -- to turn back a tide of evil!
