About the Author:
Associate Professor Shane Bullock, Associate Professor Shane Bullock School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences James Cook University, has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals in the area of nurses knowledge of pharmacology and the development of computer-assisted learning packages for nursing students
Associate Professor Elizabeth Manias is a registered nurse and pharmacist, and is employed at The University of Melbourne as an Associate Professor. She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in the area of pharmacology and medication management issues. Her research endeavours have made a sustained contribution in medication safety, interpersonal and organisational communication, and consumer participation. Specifically, her work has examined the complex communication processes about how medications are used. Aside from the Fundamentals of Pharmacology textbook, Dr. Manias has published her work extensively in international peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Alan Galbraith is the pioneering author of this text; he has now retired from university teaching and works in the United Arab Emirates.
