The thrill of a large fish attacking an expertly presented fly is one of the most highly treasured experiences in fly fishing. But in order to coax that prized saltwater fish to take your fly, you need to master the steps leading up to the hook set.

Fly Fishing for Saltwater’s Finest describes everything you need to know to enjoy the best fly fishing has to offer, including which flies to present to each fish, what water conditions to look for, and how to tie the right fly for each species. The authors draw on over 100 years of experience to share their nine favorite fishing destinations along the Atlantic coast to catch the 10 most popular saltwater fish:

· Striped Bass · Permit

· Bonito · Bonefish

· Bluefish · Tarpon

· Weakfish · Snook

· False Albacore · Redfish

Though these techniques can be used to catch saltwater fish anywhere, by the time you’re finished you’ll want to take a chapter from the book and head straight for the coast to feel the exhilaration for yourself.
