Tracey Boraas is a Capstone Press author. From School Library Journal:
Grade 3-6-A dry, factual introduction that includes chapters on land, climate, and wildlife; history and government; the economy; and people, culture, and daily life. Each one begins with a "Fast Facts" box. Some of the full-color photographs are not crisp and clear and seem dated, and the organization of the time line might be confusing for younger readers. Information is easily found, however, through the index and the detailed contents page. Some short "Features" are included, such as pictures of money, a recipe, and some words to learn in Thai. Jim Goodman's Thailand (Benchmark, 2002) is much more extensive and well done, albeit for a slightly older audience.
