About the Author
The Michigan Maritime Museum is the premier marine research, preservation, and education center in the state of Michigan, and is also South Haven's primary local history center. Its extensive facilities include exhibits, a center for teaching boatbuilding and other maritime skills, and the Marialyce Canonie Great Lakes Research Library, a nationally recognized facility.
